souled & new 

I have DJ-ed a radio show, Souled & New, on WHPK 88.5 FM Chicago since October 2009. It currently airs weekly from 9-10PM CST. If you're within range (mostly the South Side of Chicago, IL), you can listen to it on the real radio, or for everyone else you can stream it live on the WHPK website. The show mostly features soul, funk, and vocal groups/girl-group from the mid-60s-early 80s. 

I do not post my radio mixes on the internet, however sometimes I post other mixes and written-out playlists (will post archives soon). I don't mind if you tape my on-air mixes and will answer any questions you have about playlists if you email me.

I also DJ at live events and other radio work, in a wide range of genres and styles. I have DJ-ed at events such as Makaya McCraven/Irreversible Entanglements/Dos Santos In The Round at  Thalia Hall, the Stumptown Coffee opening at Ace Hotel Chicago, Bricktown Sound at the Hungry Brain, Elastic Arts, and more. Other radio work has included live mixes for CiTR's Femconcept and WHPK's Radio Dada.
